Hey there. I'm a newbie here at GYMKAKI. I haven't had the discipline to regularly gym and the only thing I do is run in my condo's gym. Crossing 40, gaining weight, looking tired, poor discipline is no good and I'm trying to get fit but need help. I had never needed to keep my weight down as it had hovered at 75 for more than 10years. Now I'm 81kg for the last 3 months!!! I can't believe it, and I feel so damn heavy and I have trouble with my clothes now...

Living in Clementi area, can anyone recommend a good gym with good personal trainers for me to keep fit. Perhaps even get a good trainer to train in my condo's gym. Any advice from seniors here?

Thanks. :)

Welcome to GymKaki!

Start small. try changing your diet, perhaps some calorie deficit ones. Work on a combination of cardio and weight training. It's not too late to start exercising regularly and build the habit!

Thanks to all for the advice.

My other issue is that control of my diet is somewhat limited as I entertain significantly. Banquets are common. :(

I have started avoiding the fatty and the high carbos.

But I think my health can be improved with some
Exercise. Started my golf driving again and doing 10 km walks every Sunday. But nothing throughout the rest of week except eating and drinking.

I think I will go get a trainer.
