I believe all people are gifted with some kind of talent. For example some are great artists, some are great speakers, others excel in sports, many are great with computers and so on.
Where do those talents come from?
Well, some believe the are gifts from God, others say the talents are inherited from past lives or from their parents. All of the above may be true and they, in my opinion do not exclude one another, but one may ask what happens if they didn't inherit any special skill or talent.
It's true you may not have been born with a special talent but you have the next best thing: Ambition
Ambition can take you further than a natural gifted person because ambition is the fuel and accelerator behind any type of evolution.
How is ambition that great?
To answer that we're gonna have to see what ambition really is. From my point of view,
Ambition is 3 things:
1) Trusting yourself and believing in your goal above anything else: be sure that when trying to achieve great goals you will have doubts and people around you will also doubt you so remember that in those moments only trusting yourself will give you the power to take another step ahead towards reaching your goal.
2) Not giving up: imagine your path to evolution (social or spiritual) as swimming in a river against current. The moment you give up and stop swimming, the current will take you back to where you started or even further back. It's the way nature works, when you stop, you lose!
3) Hard work: every aspect of this world was created or built through hard work. Whether it took hours, days, months, years or even centuries, everything took time and hard work. So whether it's social or spiritual evolution that you're aiming for, constant practice and work are necessary.
Next time you feel powerless, small and insignificant, remember ambition is within each and everyone of us. The choice is yours whether you use it or not.
