A FOUR-YEAR-OLD boy died after jumping down from the fourth floor of a building in China. His elder brother, six, also jumped and was seen falling down with his hands outstretched like Superman, was saved. According to a shop owner on the ground floor of the building, she heard a loud bang. When she walked out of the shop to investigate, she saw a boy lying in a pool of blood. 'I did not know how he fell but one minute later the people who had gathered there and I saw another boy on a fourth-floor balcony. We shouted to him not to jump but it was too late,' she said. It is believed the boys were mimicking the comic-book superhero Superman. The boys were sent to a local hospital where the elder brother was saved after emergency treatment. The younger one died about two hours later.
