I'm looking to get some little equipment like dumbbells or something to motivate me to exercise. What should I get that will be most effective and can use to exercise a variety of different body parts? I was thinking of purchasing a stationary bike but I was more interested in lifting weights or something. Thanks!

Get the power rack with some weights. With it alone u can do most compound weight exercises, which makes it very effective.

A weight rack is a good investment that helps you do a lot of exercises. You can also lift milk jugs full of water or sand for initial weight training instead of small 5 or 10 lb dumbbells. There's no need to spend money on treadmills or other cardio equipment when you can walk for free.

Its good to invest in a good pair of running shoes for cardio. For weights, a power rack is a good Muti purpose equipment.

Start off with a pull up bar install at your home will be good enough. Add a push-up handle too. Try using it everyday before committing into something big and bulking.

A workout partner or good workout music could help you be motivated to work out.:D
Maybe outdoor biking would be less boring for me specially if you would do biking in parks where there are good view of nature.

Hi,

A pair of adjustable dumbells would be a good start. Slowly build it up from there. A weigh bench would be a great addition too.
