Hi Stef,

You need to have low enough body fat to be able to reveal your abs and also hit your core through all three planes of motion. Try planks (with progressions like stir the pot using a stability ball), mountain climbers, woodchoppers, turkish getups etc. Endless crunches will not do your back any favours in the long run. Using a trx/suspension trainer is also great as so many trx exercises also use the core. best of luck
