I just join this forum today and I hope to learn a lot about fitness and exercise and ways to stay healthy. I also like to learn a thing or two about weight loss because I'm having problem with my weight. It keeps going up and never seems to want to go down. I hope there are some good advice here on how to lose weight fast and quick but in a healthy way.

I've thought about going on a crash diet but then that doesn't seem to be healthy and I'm just so lazy to exercise. If there's a method where one can lose weight without exercising, I'm all ears.

If you starve yourself, you will lose weight but also your health. The best bet is to cultivate a habit of exercising and a healthy diet. Start small and slowly progress. It's very important to stay consistent and not give up.

I know I shouldn't be starving myself and I should eat healthy but it's difficult to find the time to exercise. No, I think to be honest, I'm just so lazy to exercise. How to get off my butt and start exercising? I tried but even though the spirit is strong but the flesh is alas too weak.

Hey welcome to the forum, @UmiNoor. How to get off your butt I start exercising? Personally I think the hardest step is to break out of your comfort zone and take that first step into building a healthy habit of exercising. It could be applying for a membership for a local gym and start hitting it more often. Once u get the ball rolling, it should be easier to maintain - as it probably becomes a way of life for you. Joining, sharing and reading up on this forum is also a good step to know more about fitness :)

Not being able to find time and energy is a realistic problem that many people face. I mean, we all got our personal commitments and work to do, sometimes after all of that we just do not have the time and energy for any exercise. You're definitely not alone :)

What I feel is that we just have got to make time for exercise if we really want to keep fit. Try playing around with whatever free time you have and weigh your piorities. You may want to squeeze a quick run or weight session before work if you feel it would be tiring to exercise after work. Or you can tweak your workout to doing more of bare minimal but effective compound routines that work the core muscles well.

These are just some suggestions. Ultimately everyone gets the same number of hours a day. It's how we effectively plan our time and utilise it.
