We are a club focused on strength, balance and memory training for older adults. You will train our clients in small groups, and perform the role as a motivator and extended family. Our clients train with us twice a week for 1.5 hours each time. You will lead the warm up sessions where you can be creative about how you would like to lead them. Eg. Zumba, Yoga, Tai Chi... Followed by a strength training session on world class machines used by China's National Olympic Team.

We have flexible working hours, offer a home style training environment and more importantly, you will be helping to keep our elderly stronger as they age, enabling them to age independently in their own homes.

He/She will have access to the latest globally innovative training and equipment for active ageing, enabling older adults over 55 in Singapore to be stronger, healthier and more energetic as they age. You will also be spearheading social, health and lifestyle programmes that will engage our members and create a ‘kampong spirited’ community.


Responsibilities

· Develop and execute fun and creative social, sports and recreational programmes for older adults (over 55 years old) to enable healthy, dignified and independent ageing

· Operate programmes and strength training equipment for active ageing

· Member relations and coordination of services


Requirements

· Preferably qualifications in Sports Science/ Physiotherapy / Events / Marketing / Business

· Preferably good knowledge of human body physiology

· Outgoing, sporty, fun, innovative, positive personality

· Must enjoy interacting with older people (above 55 years old)

· Good written and verbal English language and one other language

· CPR certification

· ACSM / Equivalent personal training certification
