Was discussing dips with Clubfitt instructor the other day. He mentioned something about us asians should avoid dip belts because our frame cannot handle massive weights for dips. He says our shoulder cannot take it =/

He said the dip belt is not good for the vertebrae because someone dislocated his spine in a private gym. The shoulder thing happens if we lean forwards during the rep. He says the angle must be right - going down and up as vertical as possible.

"the shoulder thing" - Shoulders can get damaged easily if you lean forward during dips.

Actually im more interested in the dip machine... hahah why need a dip belt when u can actually hang the dumbbell like the video did.

I been looking for ways to make a dip belt, was thinking of using thick water hose and chains, same method to be used as shown in the video. But i think the foam roll will be a better idea, more comfortable on the waist and hip area.
