public gyms are the most affordable. the nearest public gym from kembangan would be the bedok clubfitt gym:

Bedok ClubFITT Gym
Address: 5 Bedok North St 2 (469645)
Contact No: 6244 5387
Operating Hours:
7.00 am -10.00 pm (Mon/Wed/Fri), 8.30 am -10.00 pm (Tue/Thur), 8.30 am to 8.00 pm (Sat), 9.00 am - 8.00 pm (Sun),
9.00 am - 5.00 pm (Public holidays)
Background:
Launched on 25 May 98, this gym has a floor area of 260.15 sqm.
Facilities Type:
Standard gymnasium equipment

There are several private gyms approx 10-15 mins drive from kembangan, but can be pretty pricey.

clubfitt is generally designed for the general fitness. on a fairly less crowded timing, there are pretty sufficient weight for you do deadlift around 160kg-180kg range. so in terms of weights i guess its pretty sufficient for most people. during more crowded times, u gotta wait longer for weights and usually 100-120kg weights are left for deadlifting on a fairly crowded day.

gymboxx isn't a huge difference from clubfitt. entry fees are almost the same too. if ure comparing between the two, i suggest u head down to either ones for a session and see which u prefer!

There's Fitness First at Tampines CPF Building. In terms of weights it probably has all that you need, including ridiculous weight dumbwells around 60 kg and more (a whole plethora of weight machines), and lots of variety of brainless cardio, and lots of classes you can dig with the chicks.

It also has a price tag that probably costs more than you would like...120-140 SGD/month.

There's true fitness at NTUC Income Tampines Junction too. The facilities are a little older, but significantly better than smaller gyms (quite close to FF variety and range of weight), and significantly cheaper too I hear, if you sign on long term plans. Something in the region of 60-70 SGD/month for 2 year period, but the downpayment can be painful.
