Mac OS X Lion Available from Mac App Store on 20th July. During Apple's quarterly earning calls on 19th July, the company also mentioned that its updated Mac OS X 10.7, otherwise known as Lion, will be launched on 20th July. OS X Lion will drop in with over 250 new features, sporting a look much like its iOS counterpart.

You can only upgrade to Lion if you are already running OSX 10.6.7.

The download is around 4GB. The upgrade will cost US$29.99 (S$36.45). Lion requires at least 2GB of RAM and an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor - meaning it is compatible with Apple computers (except the Mac mini) from late 2006

how is it overall? worth the 30 bucks? can u sense any major improvements?
I think overall, the best improvement is the way where you can shut off the com and resume everything where you left off then you turn on the com again. Don't need to reopen all the apps.
