I would love to start running on the indoor track at my school, but I wasn't sure how to get started, can someone recommend a program that goes by distance rather than time?
Follow this link for a number of different training programs. I have followed one of the Running Room's distance training programs for a half marathon and found it to be really effective.
For that i guess going out is the correct thing for you i mean you need to maintain your fitness but in staying indoor and doing it that seems a bit hard.
Outside walking is cool but yeah if you have no other option that can help you.
