Four Nanyang Technological University (NTU) undergraduates are partnering the organisers of a regional charity ride to launch Singapore's first night cycling safety initiative.
The event, See and be Seen Night Ride, will be flagged off from East Coast Park at 10pm on March 10.
It aims to encourage more cyclists to be properly equipped for night cycling by introducing them to night cycling safety messages. These include adopting a cautious attitude when riding and equipping bikes with clear lights.
The ride will also raise funds for non-profit organisation Life! Community Development, which works in countries such as Myanmar and Laos.
