We certainly don’t understand everything about sleep, and it seems like we learn something new about it on a regular basis. I thought this infographic was pretty interesting, especially the bit about the sleep experiences of blind people.

I've read before that the amount of sleep we need remains constant but this has been debated. The older we get, the more difficult it becomes to meet our sleep needs, for a variety of reasons. Even if we r able to function better with less sleep the older we get, that does not mean our bodies don't, in fact, crave that sleep. Older people take more daytime naps to make up for poor sleep at night, which can be due to medicinal or medical causes or simply having more time to sleep.

Also wonder why men have dreams about men more than women. Hmmm. :p
I always thought that real men always think about women and of course dream about women too. Hope that there could be explanation about this. :)
Also first time to know that someone could really commit a murder while being asleep.

According to this, Koalas sleep 22 hours per day! I'd love to get some of that action (the sleep I mean..). I think if I can sleep for 22 hours, I'd be so energized and happy all the time.

I can agree with older people needing less sleep because my father is usually the last to sleep and the first to wake up. My husband too is in his 60s and he wakes up so early in the morning yet he will not go anywhere until 9am. The who presentation is true and we all need sleep. If I don't get enough sleep two days continuously, I usually feel drowsy during the day and until I sleep enough, I remain restless.

In the sleeping positions sometimes I'm A, sometimes C. I do have a bit of both of the personalities stated under these two though. :)

Interesting. I fall under C and F when it comes to sleeping position. :p But most of the time C.. and GAWDNESS. I think I have personality disorder. :p There are times I don't dream, or it could be that I just can't remember 99% of my dream. LMAO.
