I have to have a resistance band, and a set of dumbbells, and a good set of shoes is all I need to workout!

I think home gyms are great for those who do not have time nor the desire to go to a gym. You can workout in the privacy of your home with loud music, if you desire. However, you have to be very disciplined to keep up a daily routine. When you go to the gym you are in a conducive environment to workout. However, you can work out any time of day or night you desire.

Although I train at a gym because of the need for a good spotter and the gym has far more iron to load onto the bars than I could afford for home use I do maintain a small selection of equipment at home.

Dumbbells and a selection of plates to fit, Heavy Bag, Bands - assorted strengths, Stationary bike, fitness ball, 2 medicine balls, Wobble board, foam blocks, foam rolls, Weighted sled, Tractor tire, skipping rope, marker cones.

on the shopping list is an agility ladder and a Speed Parachute.

My only equipment is a Pull-up bar. I go to the gym to train instead of training at home. I simply do not have the space to put a full power rack at my place. Without a power rack, it leaves out many key exercises such as squats.

btw @Trusylver that is quite a wide selection of equipment! it is not small at all haha. Btw what is a speed parachute?

Haven't really see people doing sprints with speed parachute before.
A power rack would definitely be one of the items that I would want to purchase for my home gym. A squat rack would be a good sub for the power rack.
