If you are part of a team, it is up to your team to determine/plan how to rotate each 10km loop.
For example, you may:
1.Run in a relay format (take turns to run a lap each or as many laps as you like before handing over to the next team mate)
2.Run together for selected laps (to motivate each other especially in the wee hours of the night)
3.Combination of both 1 & 3
We will record the distance clocked by everyone in your team, based on your individual bib number.
The e-certificates for each member of a team will indicate both:
1.Individual Distance (distance clocked by the individual); and
2.Team Distance (total distance clocked by the team)
Why do loops?
By creating the 10km loop on the same footpath, we endeavour to provide a memorable experience for all participants by maximising opportunities of being able to encourage & motivate your friends and fellow participants as you pass by each other. Seeing each other on the course will spur you on to bring out the best in you and brighten up the twilight.
What kind of support will I get?
There will be support stations located at each 2.5km, 5km, 7.5km & 10km, stocked with water, isotonic drinks, bananas, muscle spray.
Watermelon will be provided at the end of each loop at the 10km/Finish support station
These support stations will remain open till 4pm on 11 March 2012 Sunday.
Professional Ambulance service will provide safety/first aid/emergency coverage throughout the event.
What if I have Special Needs?
You are very special to us. Your Special-Needs items can be placed at the 10km support station where it'll be well taken care of. These items must be packed into your self-provided Special-Needs Bag which will be identified by your bib number written on a piece of tape.
