All of us have different reasons for working out. And sometimes we have an exact reason to get in shape. Maybe you want to look good to your significant other. You may want to beef up to be stronger in a specific sport. I work out to fend off the flab, have upper body strength and feel good.

I workout to encourage and maintain health and beauty. For me, it is a feeling that I have inside. It is a kind of giving...to myself and from there, to others. I truly do believe in survival of the fittest - so gaining fitness is essential to not only surviving...but to thriving on this planet.

I think we all want to be the best possible versions of ourselves. Also, one of the best lessons I learned very young - was to never compare myself to others. I was told to compare myself to where I was and to where I want to be. So that I am constantly improving and becoming the best version of me possible!

That, in a nutshell, is what motivates me to workout...to be the best possible me. Strong in mind, soul and body.

When I see people with ripped and jacked bodies, it motivates me to workout. ahhaha. So i guess my main motivation is to look better. @Lee11 interesting perspective of comparing yourself from the present to the future.

For me, it is all about max strength, feeling good and putting it all together on stage, it is not about looks, I can blend in with almost any crowd of older ladies, but knowing that I can walk into the average gym and out lift most of the men there is a great boost to self confidence and Ego. Having the proven ability in the gym also helps when your job is strength and conditioning coaching for footballers lol

I guess working out has become an integral part of my life  been exercising regularly since I was young. there is a natural urge to need to move and exercise after staying indoors for some time. there are plenty of other factors such as health and looks but i guess that's my main motivating factor.

I am motivated to do exercises to keep myself healthy specially that I work several hours a day in front of my computer. It is sometimes hard to find time to workout but I try my best to still do simple exercises at home. And also seeing some of my clothes so fit to me really makes me want to do lose weight since I am not comfortable on such too fit clothes and not practical to just buy new clothes because of that. ;)

I workout because I aspire to perform a human flag, and also achieve an IPPT Gold in the army.
The human flag will be difficult as I do not have much professional advice or hired trainer.
As for IPPT Gold, I earned it 2 months ago and have already sewed on the badge to my No. 4 uniform :D

I am probably tired looking my same old overweight body so I decided to change my look before the Holidays as present for myself. This year, I had been sick most of the time so I guess, it is one thing that keeps me motivated to lose weight to make me look good, at the same, can have those beautiful dresses to fit on me that I saw while window shopping.

My cousins and friends are the people who motivates me to workout. Whenever they see me, they're like. "WOW YOU'RE FAT". Actually THAT IS NOT TRUE. Compared to my very slim figure before and their current figures now, I have now gained bit of weight. The only problem is, my fats aren't distributed evenly. Most of them are stuck in my upper arms, my neck, my upper legs and my belly. So, when I expose these parts I am indeed an ugly sight. LOL. But not totally horrendous. And so I started doing abdominal crunches. I used to jog every afternoon but then I got lazy when I started gaining weight. Sometimes, I really feel like not doing any exercise at all as its tiring but.. I have to. :p

Sounds corny but what is worth the prize is always worth the fight.

Mostly working out is just something to do when i have nothing else to do for me, i don't work out very much but when i do its due to boredom.
