YouTube Launch in Singapore

YouTube is officially launched in Singapore!

Notice that today (20th Oct 2011), the youtube logo has a merlion on it

honestly, this vid makes it seem as tho Singaporeans never knew about YouTube until today

my guess is that YouTube is finally allowing accepting singaporeans as YouTube partners. These "partners" would get a slightly enhanced YouTube channel and a cut of YouTube revenue for their videos.
